Tidepool Audio Info and Store Policies

We have sold & rented quality pro audio equipment to people who appreciate good sound since 2003. Tidepool Audio is in Portland, Oregon in 2003 so there's no sales tax no matter where you live!

We specialize in quality products that satisfy our own picky tastes. Our overhead is minimal compared to chain stores & catalog houses so you'll save money!  All new items we carry have the full manufacturer's warranty.  Call if you have product questions or to inquire about a demo & definitely call if you've seen a better price!

*Buying from Tidepool Audio through third-party Websites*

Sites like Reverb & eBay will collect sales tax in many states (you'll see the tax when you're paying for the goods).  If you buy directly from Tidepool Audio, there is ZERO SALES TAX, a big incentive to buy directly from our website!

Shipping

Free shipping on all orders $99 & up*  

*Microphone & speaker stands, acoustic panels, room kits, etc do not qualify for free shipping.  Please let us know what you're interested in and we'll get you a shipping quote.

We only ship in the U.S.  Your billing and shipping addresses must match.

Free shipping does not apply to Hawaii and Alaska.  Before you place your order, please ask for a shipping quote to Hawaii and Alaska.

Warranty

No charge for our two-year warranty coverage.  If a particular manufacturer has a five-year warranty, you'll get that.  The only exceptions are on consumable items like tubes & batteries.

Returns

If you want to return an item, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the item.  Any items returned must receive an return authorization number.  Returns must be in new condition with all original packing materials, outer boxes, etc.  Open box returns are subject to a 20% restock charge plus the cost of outgoing shipping.

There are no returns on special orders.  If we do not have an item in stock and you wish to order it, it is considered a final sale.  Please ask before ordering if you're not sure about our special order policy.

You can generally reach us by phone from 9 am to 7 pm PST Monday-Saturday. If you've got a quick question, calling is usually your best bet.  We are closed Sundays.

Please call in advance if you want to arrange a visit/consultation.  Our warehouse location for local pickups is open by appointment only.  You will need to call for our warehouse address, it is not listed online.
