Speaker Stands & Mounts

Having your studio monitors properly positioned is the one of the most beneficial and least-expensive ways for a studio to get the most from their high-resolution speaker playback system.  A typical scenario is to place the monitors on a work surface or stands with the tweeters at or close to the ear height of the listener.  Barring that, angling a speaker either upward or downward until the tweeter is aimed to the engineer's ears is extremely beneficial.

Isolation platforms can also be useful to decouple the speaker from the desk or work surface to minimize sympathetic vibrations that can adversely color the response.
