The Peluso CEMC-6 is a solid-state small diaphragm condenser microphone. The CEMC6 includes a fixed cardioid pattern capsule with a 20-millimeter gold sputtered diaphragm. In this CEMC-6 Stereo Kit, additional included capsules are easily swapped: omni-directional, cardioid, wide cardioid, and hyper-cardioid.
The CECM6 features a 10 dB and 20dB pad switch and a two-position high pass filter with 75hz and 150hz settings. These versatile microphones are used in the studio for vocals and acoustic instruments and drum overheads.
For the remote recording engineer, this is a great mic for orchestras and live audience tapers. You'll always get great results from one of the most versatile small diaphragm mics on the market.
This stereo kit features a pair of acoustically matched CEMC-6 microphones. We individually test and graph the frequency response for every microphone we make. Stereo matched pairs are hand selected to have identical frequency responses across the audible spectrum (±1dB).
Additional omni-directional, wide cardioid, and hyper-cardioid pattern capsules are included.

A new modular system is a welcome addition to the selection available to the taper crowd, a demanding market… The bass response of these CEMC-6 mics is massive… Other aspects of the mics sound are a very smooth sounding mid range…better than anything else in this price range, and well beyond for that matter. The high end is non-fatiguing and detailed. Overall, I found the mics to be very transparent…but not dry. Lively…but not colored really. They just sounded "real" to me where ever I used them… All of the capsules sound amazingly good.
If you are looking to get a great sounding pair of mics for cheap money, then you'd be fool hardy if you didn't give these a serious listen. And doing that is no more difficult than pointing your browser to the live music section of archive.org. Do a search on "Peluso" and you'll find examples up there from every capsule.'
