The Schoeps Stereo Set MK2 has historically been the go-to stereo microphone kit used for stereo pickup of instruments and ensembles.  It has the flattest response of the omni-directional capsules offered by Schoeps.  Formerally know as the Schoeps Near Field OMNI Stereo ST.
